Que recuerdos tan hermosos me vienen a la memoria cuando escucho esta canción, en Guatemala se escuchó muchisimo, esta es la única canción que he escuchado a Eric Burdon acompañado del grupo War.

Sky Pilot - Portada del 45

Esta canción de Eric Burdon y los animales me gusta mucho y también me trae grandes recuerdos. Este es uno de los discos favoritos de mi amigazo Juan Alberto Reyes y también de mi hermano Marco Tulio.

La canción es un tanto larga y por eso el disco 45 tenía la canción en la cara "A" y continuaba en la cara "B".
Esta canción salió en la segunda epoca del grupo de Los Animales.

Allá por el lejano año de 1985, estas canciones fueron lanzadas como parte de una campaña para concientizar a los jovenes. A mi me gustaron mucho las dos canciones y ahora 24 años despues las recuerdo con mucha nostalgia.

Tu Nombre / Jornada Sentimental - César Costa

Estas dos canciones me gustan mucho.

La canción Jornada Sentimental la escuché por primera vez en una pelicula en la cual César Costa interpretaba a un cantante que cantaba con mascara, por cierto también salía Chespirito (bastante joven por cierto).

El Salvaje / Muñeca de cera - César Costa

César Costa es de los artistas que se ha mantenido a través de los años, quizás ya no en la misma forma que tuvo en los años 60's y 70's pero todavía lo vemos de cuando en cuando por los canales de televisión.

En su mayoría las canciones que interpreto fueron covers, sin embargo muchas de ellas me han gustado más que la original, personalmente pienso que César Costa no tuvo una gran voz pero tenía carisma y era bastante educado al presentarse en público.

El Salvaje no se quién la canta en otro idioma pero la canción Muñeca de cera es originalmente cantada en francés. Karina también sacó su versión pero me gusta más con César Costa.

Something (Algo)/ Come Together (Vengan Juntos) - The Beatles

Este disco de 45 R.P.M. realmente es excelente, no se puede decidir cual es el lado "A" y cual es el lado "B", las dos canciones son excelentes.

Escuchando estas canciones me transporta a los días cuando mi recordada "Voz Del Hogar" transmitía el programa "Beatles por siempre". Yo mismo me sorprendo al pensar en la tremenda influencia que en mi vida tuvo esa emisora de radio y eso que unicamente transmitía en A.M.

Despues de varios días sin poder actualizar mi blog acá estoy de nuevo, gracias a Dios he tenido bastante trabajo y tengo que aprovechar mientras se pueda. La verdad es que extrañaba esto de vivir recuerdos con la música que tanto me gusta pero cuando regresaba a la casa me sentía tan cansado que practicamente solo estaba llegando a dormir.

Hoy quiero recordar una canción que para mi es muy pero muy especial.

How Does It Feel (Como se siente) es una de las canciones que sin poder evitarlo me remonta a tiempos imposibles de olvidar. En Guatemala fue muy conocida pero según he visto en otros países pasó como si nada. Esta canción fue lanzada en Europa bajo el sello Decca y Parrot, en Guatemala se lanzó con el sello Parrot y lo hizo la casa disquera "INDICA" que estaba en Costa Rica.

De Engelbert Humperdinck me gustan varias canciones pero esta es la principal. Apareció como lado "B" de un disco 45 R.P.M., y hasta el momento no se si ha sido editado en C.D. así que me considero afortunado al tener el disco 45.

De "Jairo" me gustan dos canciones, "El valle y el volcan" y "Nuestro amor será un himno".
Ambas son hermosas canciones y siempre disfruto escuchandolas.

Cuentame - Fedra y Maximiliano

A pesar de que esta canción (según parece) fue cantada originalmente por "Formula V" yo la conocí primero con "Fedra y Maximiliano", al cabo de los años cuando "DIDECA" lanzó un L.P. de recopilación de éxitos de "Formula V" descubrí que ellos la habían cantado primero.
Personalmente me gusta más la versión de "Fedra y Maximiliano", como he comentado anteriormente, Canal 11 de la televisión guatemalteca cada Sábado transmitía peliculas argentinas, una de esas peliculas se llamaba "Pimienta y Pimentón" y ahí aparecieron "Fedra y Maximiliano" intepretando esta canción, hasta el momento solamente en esa pelicula he visto a este duo argentino.
